The Lake Phuket Elephant Home is a sanctuary
dedicated to rescuing domestic elephants from
harsh labor conditions and providing them with a safe, loving environment.
Our mission is to make a difference by educating
visitors about elephant care, welfare, and the
importance of ethical tourism. At our sanctuary, elephants can live freely and happily, away from
the hardships they once faced. We offer ethical tours where guests can observe and learn about these gentle giants in a respectful and responsible
way, fostering a deeper understanding of their
natural behaviors and needs. Our home is not just
a place for elephants-it is a place of compassion,
learning and meaningful change.

An amazing experience, fun with elephants and the people are very nice and welcoming.. We had the chance to learn to prepare a local papaya salade and we enjoyed some good foods. This is a place to surely visit

Wir hatten eine unglaublich schöne und berührende Erfahrung in diesem Elefantenschutzgebiet. Es ist deutlich spürbar, dass das Wohl der Tiere hier an erster Stelle steht. Die Elefanten wirken entspannt, gesund und werden mit großem Respekt behandelt. Besonders gefallen hat uns, dass man die Tiere in einer natürlichen Umgebung beobachten kann, ohne dass sie zu unnatürlichen Aktivitäten gezwungen werden. Das Team vor Ort und besonders Phichet ist sehr freundlich, engagiert und teilt viel Wissen über die Elefanten und ihren Schutz. Es war ein unvergesslicher Tag, der uns noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben wird. Wir können diesen Ort jedem empfehlen, der Elefanten auf verantwortungsvolle und ethische Weise erleben möchte.

Fantastic experience! There was a great walk with the elephants and bath. Great small group experience! Tour guides were fantastic as well. Meal at the end made it great

I attended Walk and Vitamin. I really enjoyed it! 😊 Thank you very much to the whole team! You are doing a very important job! First, we were given an introductory lecture about elephants. Then we helped prepare food for the elephants and went to feed them. We also took a short walk with the elephants and observed them in their natural environment. Our lecturer Yuth took photos of all of us with the elephants. What else I would like to note: • The Lake Phuket Elephant Home is very clean — both the place itself and the elephants are very clean and well-groomed, they are well taken care of. It is clear that the team is deeply involved in the process and cares about what they do. • We were picked up from the hotels by a minivan and taken back to the hotels at the end of the tour. It was very comfortable! Thank you!

Es hat uns allen super gefallen. Den Elefanten geht es sehr gut hier, keiner wird gequält. Die Menschen sind alle sehr freundlich. 🥰
