The Lake Phuket Elephant Home is a sanctuary
dedicated to rescuing domestic elephants from
harsh labor conditions and providing them with a safe, loving environment.
Our mission is to make a difference by educating
visitors about elephant care, welfare, and the
importance of ethical tourism. At our sanctuary, elephants can live freely and happily, away from
the hardships they once faced. We offer ethical tours where guests can observe and learn about these gentle giants in a respectful and responsible
way, fostering a deeper understanding of their
natural behaviors and needs. Our home is not just
a place for elephants-it is a place of compassion,
learning and meaningful change.

What an amazing experience. Walking with the elephants. Dani who owns it explains a lot about elephant behaviour and who the elephants are. It felt a bit rushed. We spent maximum an hour with the elephants. More time talking and making papaya salad and eating. But you can't expect elephants to perform and do what you want. They have their routines and we must respect that. So amazing to see them walking around with their keepers. These elephants had all been in captivity and so need human carers. But thoroughly enjoyed it. Would have liked longer.

Fantastic experience! There was a great walk with the elephants and bath. Great small group experience! Tour guides were fantastic as well. Meal at the end made it great
