The Lake Phuket Elephant Home is a sanctuary
dedicated to rescuing domestic elephants from
harsh labor conditions and providing them with a safe, loving environment.
Our mission is to make a difference by educating
visitors about elephant care, welfare, and the
importance of ethical tourism. At our sanctuary, elephants can live freely and happily, away from
the hardships they once faced. We offer ethical tours where guests can observe and learn about these gentle giants in a respectful and responsible
way, fostering a deeper understanding of their
natural behaviors and needs. Our home is not just
a place for elephants-it is a place of compassion,
learning and meaningful change.

Booked this elephant sanctuary experience for our family & we were surprised about how family friendly it is, but also absolutely loved the tour itself. You prepare the sugar canes for the elephants by chopping them up, then do a small hike to where the elephants are in the jungle to feed them. Then they walk back with you to the lake to take baths where you can get in with them & help scrub them down (bring swimsuits! They also have showers here for you after). All of the elephants are rescues. Then you get to make your own papaya salad & enjoy lunch. Would definitely love to come back :)

Amazing experience, very authentic and respectful of the elephants! Our guide, Daeng, was so good! Sharing his experience and love of the elephants! If you want the real experience, go for the 3 hours package, totally worth it! A bonus, amazing food after an intense morning!

Очень хорошее место, слоников тут любят! Видно, что бережно относятся к ним) Namwhan очень приятная девушка, встретила нас и сопровождала при кормлении и мытье слонов) Слоника звали Минао. Атмосфера приятная, дружелюбная. Брали билеты прямо на месте, по стоимости 800 бат кормление, 800 душ, либо 1500 - и то, и другое. Мы взяли и кормление, и душ. Очень мило, потерли слоника щеточкой и помыли водой из шланга) Туры с купанием и прогулкой по территории, как я поняла, доступны только с гидами и организованно с группой туристов. Когда приезжаешь сам, таких вариаций нет.
